ARTIST STATEMENT
I like to express my work as refined, intricate with a lot of details.
I create with a desire to explore and satisfy my artistic needs and present and promote beading, embroidery, and other fine art mediums.
I produce with 'a needle and thread', as my preferred tools. I am longing to explore, source, and sample, as I continue to be inspired by life, skill, art, and talent. I pursue my own style and build on what experience I have gathered and gained from past design, technique and knowledge.

I’m a self-taught Canadian/Pakistani textile artist based in Toronto, Ontario producing works for personal use since 1989. My work is based on what I see around me.
I love to try out different mediums to create something beautiful. I'm still learning, so I hope you like my vision of the breathtaking Arora Borealis- Northern Lights I witnessed in Iqaluit, Nunavut on April 14, 2021.
