ALL AROUND US

‘All Around Us’, a community-engaged textile art program, brought together 19 women over 8 weeks to explore nature as a central theme and encouraged participants to explore their own relations with nature while learning and collaborating with each other. Through embroidery and other mixed mediums on textile, each artist has expressed their own view on nature.   

 

This program is a partnership between Art Ignite and textile artist Cecilia C. Garcia. It was produced with the support of the City of Toronto through Toronto Arts Council.
