8 WEEKS
On a hot summer's Sunday, 19 women from diverse backgrounds and histories came together to learn about the craft of embroidery while sharing about their connection with nature. While not everyone submitted a final piece, we thank all participants for being a part of this program!

The sessions were led by Cecilia C. Garcia, the lead artist of the 'All Around Us' community arts program as she guided the group through embroidery techniques and the art making process.
